Starkey, a Kansas signee, is the Arizona state record holder at 13-6 (4.11m). Sommers is both the California state and national junior class record holder at 14-6 (4.41m). Callahan is both the 2019 state champion and 2020 Winter Outdoor state gold medalist with a personal-best 13-6 clearance, and the UCLA-bound Adamiec recently cleared a personal-best 13-0.75 (3.98m) at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Big Red Barn Meet in Menifee, Calif. The quartet has not vaulted together at the same competition since Jan. 18 indoors at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, with Callahan and Starkey both clearing 13-4 (4.06m), and Callahan prevailing on fewer attempts.
