The senior runner placed third individually and led Westlake to a second-place team finish in the elite event at Woodward Park in Fresno. Giguere crossed the finish line in 15 minutes, 21 seconds. School: Simi Valley Class: Senior Sport: Cross Country Comment: Baxter cemented her legacy by capturing a fourth straight CIF state individual title and leading Simi Valley to the first state team title in program history at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Baxter won the Division II race in a time of 16:43. She is only the third runner to capture four straight individual state titles, and holds three of the top four times on the Woodward Park course. The Oregon-bound Baxter won every single race of her four-year high school career.
