Simi Valley boys cross country team wins heat at CIF-SS Prelims

19 area teams, three individuals reach finals

In the same league as defending Division 2 state champion Westlake High, the Simi Valley boys cross country team has held its own this fall.

Westlake nosed out Agoura by eighth points for first in their heat. Mikey Giguere (15:20) and Sean O’Bryan (15:38) were third and sixth for Westlake. Agoura’s Michael Powell (15:37) was fifth.
