Westlake's Jenna Mencarelli, Maya Sharp, Clare Adams and Samantha Seaton clocked 3:57.28 to finish fourth overall in the girls 4x400 relay at the CIF Southern Section Division 2 prelims at Moorpark High,  In addition to advancing to the section finals at Cerritos College in the 4x400 relay, Mencarelli also qualified in the 100 (11.73 - 1st) and 200 (24.39 - 1st), Sharp in the 400 (57.29 - 2nd) and Seaton in the long jump (18-3.50 - 2nd), putting Westlake in position to contend for the team championship.
